Mark's Bio
Mark A. Bowen is currently CEO of BTU Marketing Services.
In this role, Mr. Bowen is responsible for broad strategy ideation, business model development, and hands-on development, documentation, and execution of integrated marketing and business strategies. His focus is on the emerging competitive infrastructure based and wireless broadband business and marketing models, as well as the development, production and deployment of IP delivered business and entertainment content.
From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Bowen was at TDS Telecommunications Corporation (a subsidiary of Telephone & Data, Systems, Inc.), where he led the consolidation of TDS’ two principle brands, Telecom and Metrocom, into a single TDS brand and led the communications efforts of TDS Metrocom to penetrate the monopoly markets of the former Baby Bell SBC (now AT&T).

He was previously at Wray Castle Ltd./WirelessDeveloper.com, a think-tank of telecommunications engineering, software development and marketing experts. In this position, Mr. Bowen was a member of the executive management team, responsible for directing the product development, production and marketing organizations. He was also responsible for developing software developer education for Ericsson's original Bluetooth chip deployment, AT&T's "Angel" fixed wireless deployment and for many of the early developer programs associated with the technology now deployed as part of the "smart phone" revolution.
